From the Pastor

I. GRACE AND SIN BOTH CAME BY ONE PERSON. (sin was Adam/ Grace Was Jesus). “By one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin” (ver. 12);

“Through the offence of one many died” (ver. 15);

“Death reigned by one” (ver. 17);

“By one man’s disobedience many were made sinners” (ver. 19).

So also with the reign of grace.

“The grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one Man, Jesus Christ” (ver. 15);

“They who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by One, Jesus Christ” (ver. 17);

“So by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous” (ver. 19)

You couldn’t have grace if it had not been for Jesus…it would be an utter impossibility even for God to allow himself the pleasure of extending his grace to you, when you had defiled his word, and his law… (you must understand this fact, that God is holy, God is righteous, God is just… and none of his attributes can be placed in jeopardy at the point of displaying another…

I hope you are completely aware of this, the absolute impossibility of access to God, the impossibility of peace and reconciliation to the father, any other way… the way to be made to allow us peace and reconciliation with God must be a way made possible without breaking his strong stand for holiness… must be a way that will not make him “unjust” …

You may say, all he had to do is give grace, or extend mercy… he couldn’t… there was a time when it was not available…  it could not be available until… JESUS came and was the lamb for mankind… the lamb of God redeeming, the lamb of God substituting, the sinless, lamb of God bleeding, dying, for sins… and now, and only now, since Christ paid for sins of the world he loved, and not sins he was guilty of , God can now extend mercy to sinners, grace to a unholy world and make them justified, make them holy though they had sinned, and STILL BE JUST!!

WOW, … “O How I love Jesus… Because He First Loved Me”
